CBIDO is a community-based organization ensuring that children with disabilities (CWDs) receive all support services to enable them access to quality education in an inclusive setting. Located in Karagwe Tanzania, CBIDO takes an individualized and holistic approach focusing on prevention, targeted individualized interventions, family support and strengthening, income-generating activities, vocational training, inclusive education, adolescent girl support, sexual and reproductive health services. In addition all of these programs, CBIDO is a community advocate to change perceptions of disability in the local community and country of Tanzania.
